But this was D'Angelo's chance to put all his knowledge to the test, Like he always had he found evidence around the crime scene, took testimony, and used his reasoning to find the culprit, who turned out to be the second mate. There was no officers on the ship and fear and panic started to spread amongst the crew and passengers as accusation flew. It happened one day while he was returning from an expedition to a foreign land, He was taking a small ship home maned by about 6 staff and beside himself there were 5 other passengers onboard, when the unthinkable happened a passenger was killed in their cabin behind a locked door. D'Angelo never believed he had a future in the police or military because of the rigorous training and studying it would take, so he decided to keep his love for mysteries as a hobby. While he was working as a bartender for his first job, he would often serve a number of officers, who would talk about the cases they were working, he loved giving them advice about the investigations and predicting who the culprit was after they would go home for the night.
He would take interviews and collect evidence to solve them, and eventually he became pretty good at deductive reasoning. Occasionally D'Angelo would travel the realm, sometimes with his family and sometimes without, in search for new styles of cooking and recipes he could bring back home to teach to his staff.ĭ'Angelo's love for cooking is only paralleled by his love of mysteries, when he was young he used to get so engrossed in mystery novels that his mothers would often set up tiny mysteries around the house for him to solve. He got married to his childhood friend and first love, Roseanna Bubblewand, soon after the opening of his restaurant and not long after that they had their first child, a boy they named Perry. A skill he loved as it always made people happy, so he eventually made it into his career, opening a small diner style restaurant in his home town.
